The winds of change have begun to blow…

We aim to be at the forefront of female adventurers fighting man-made problems through women-led initiatives.

Our mission is to facilitate women-led, environmentally-focused adventure projects through fiscal sponsorship, mentorship, community, sustainability counseling, and other resources.

We aim to highlight the importance of the journey as a main component to inspire creative work, allowing for fluidity in the outcome of a project.

    • single-use petroleum-based materials
    • too few examples of modern-day women explorers
    • difficulty in fundraising for first-time, low-budget, high-risk adventure projects
    • the idea of there being a “right way” to live, based in comfort and complacency
    • Bring awareness to “the problem(s)” through projects within or funded/supported by WOMEN AND THE WIND – which invoke interest, educate, and push the limits of comfort. These projects reflect seemingly dangerous, difficult-to-accomplish adventures or voyages, documented and shared (through a medium most suitable for each project)– all with a focus on sustainability, eco-regeneration, and women’s empowerment.
    • Mentorship programs (launching 2025), offering support and guidance through various stages of project development.
    • Workshops with various experts in their fields on the topics of project planning and execution, fundraising, eco-regeneration, media production, and more.
